Seeing a phone QR code instead of fingerprint sign-in?
A QR code offers sign-in with a passkey on your phone. You can cancel it and use the browser and password manager where you saved your passkey. If you saved it in Google Password Manager in Chrome, open this dashboard in that Chrome profile and select the saved passkey if offered. Your fingerprint or device unlock verifies access to the selected passkey.
This page cannot choose or identify your password manager. An embedded browser may offer different choices. You do not need to repeat first-time setup or create a backup just to sign in. Do not delete a working passkey to troubleshoot.
First-time owner setup
Only use the short-lived setup code supplied privately by the account owner. Setup will close after the first passkey is enrolled.
Add a backup passkey
First sign in with your existing passkey, then open this page again within five minutes. Store the backup on another trusted device or security key.
At most two passkeys can be registered. Check status before creating another. Existing keys are never replaced here.
Owner access only. No public account registration or email/password recovery.
